The House
The house at Le Sorbier sleeps 6 people in three bedrooms with two bathrooms. There is an open-plan kitchen/living/dining room, a reading room and utility room/cloakroom.
Available in July & August as a whole property rental with the Gite.
Sleeping 10 in total in 5 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms.

Ground Floor
Kitchen / Living / Dining Room
This is a spacious room with exposed stone walls and beamed ceiling, a solid oak floor and stunning original stone fireplace with modern wood burning stove.
The kitchen area has a Fisher and Pykel double oven stove with 6 burners and a warming drawer, an integrated dishwasher and American style fridge/freezer with water dispenser and ice maker. A large island provides storage with a stainless steel worktop for food preparation.
The kitchen is very well-equipped, including a Bosch Nespresso coffee machine. (A starter pack of coffee pods are provided, but guests will need to bring their preferred brand. The local supermarket has a good selection).
First Floor
Bedroom 1
Another spacious room with exposed stone walls, beamed ceiling, feature fireplace and solid oak flooring. The bed is superking (6ft) but can be split into two single beds if required.
There is ample storage in a double wardrobe and large chest of drawers. This room has a lovely view over the front garden and fields beyond.
Bedroom 2
Landing
The Landing has double doors leading to a balcony which overlooks the rear garden area, swimming pool and fields/woods beyond. External stairs lead down to the garden.
Oak stairs lead to the second floor.
Second Floor
Bedroom 3
This attractive room has been converted from the original attic. There are lots of original beams and a lovely view from the small front window overlooking fields. The metal bed in this room is double (4ft 6”). This room benefits from air conditioning which can be used as heating in the winter. A large velux window makes this a bright and sunny room (black out blind).
Ensuite
Again a characterful room with some exposed stone and tiling. A large shower unit houses a shower with two shower heads.
Garden
Garden / Pergola / Pool
At the rear of the house is a large sunny garden with pergola for shade and a handmade oak table with seating for 10 people ideal for guests who take the house and gite together in July and August. There are lots of established trees and shrubs.
A step leads to the pool area. The stunning 12m x 4m pool is surrounded by lavender plants. There are sun loungers for 10 people. The pool is heated with the exception of July and August when it definitely is not required! There is a granite seat at the shallow end of the pool which ideal for small children to get used to the water.
At the front of the property and behind the pool there are fields which can be used for playing sports.
